A compassionate space for those seeking a different way to heal.
With coach Ashley Townsend, based in Denver, Colorado
Working with me is different from traditional mental health spaces.
Here, you won’t be reduced to a diagnosis, rushed through a treatment plan, or asked to fit inside someone else’s framework for healing.
Instead, you can expect a deeply personalized, trauma-informed coaching experience rooted in creativity, curiosity, and unwavering presence. I draw from my years as a therapist, but without the constraints of insurance, labels, or rigid systems, we are able to move at the pace of trust and real transformation.
This is a space where your identity is affirmed, your lived experience is honored, and your inner wisdom is trusted. My role is not to fix you, it’s to walk beside you as you uncover the strength and clarity that have been within you all along.
Who I Work With
Women, men, and those who identify as LGBTQIA+ who are working through sexual trauma, addiction, and the unique complexities and traumas of growing up in foster care and adoption.
Those are searching for a deeper sense of community within themselves and their outer world.
Those who have experienced loss, are going through grief, and life-altering changes.
Health care professionals who are feeling burnt out and cut off from the work they were once passionate about.
Those open to change and who have likely been hurt by more conventional methods of treating mental health, particularly in the Western world.

My Journey to Coaching
With a background as a licensed clinical social worker and music therapist, I worked for years supporting individuals navigating trauma, addiction, and complex life experiences. I am deeply grateful for my training and the clients who trusted me within the therapeutic space. It shaped me in profound ways.
While I value therapy, I saw firsthand how diagnostic systems, insurance requirements, and rigid structures could sometimes limit the depth, creativity, and pace of healing.
Shifting into transformational and integration coaching allows me to meet clients more holistically: without labels, without red tape, and without being confined by state lines. It allows me to focus fully on you, including your values, your inner wisdom, and your capacity for change.
My approach blends trauma training, creative exploration, and unwavering presence, walking beside you as you reconnect with your strength and move toward the life you want to live.
So, if you are feeling overwhelmed with all that is going on in the world, burnt out on your current tools for healing, or just curious about how a transformational coach can best support you, please contact me!
What is Coaching and How Can It Serve You?
-
A holistic, non-diagnostic way of working with clients to overcome blocks, challenges, traumas, and limiting beliefs. Rather than focusing on what’s “wrong,” it centers on who you are becoming, creating space for healing, alignment, and meaningful transformation.
-
Integration coaching uses the same approach to help prepare for, sit through, and integrate safe and healing psychedelic experiences. You may have heard of someone working with a coach or therapist to integrate ketamine sessions, for example.
-
Did you know that therapists have to diagnose you with a mental health disorder in order to bill insurance? Not only that, but many therapeutic approaches tend to be heavily problem-focused and slow-moving.
As a transformational coach, these limitations and labels are not there. If you choose to work with me, I will walk beside you as you rediscover your deepest held values and come further into alignment with your true self. It is possible to name the problem without over identifying with it, embrace change, and see progress happen at a rate that you may have previously thought impossible.
My approach is one of genuine compassion and curiosity, and the focus is on looking inward, as well as moving onward and upward.
“I was very nervous and needed lots of time to get prepared prior to my first psychedelic journey. Ashley was helpful in explaining expectations, walking me through preparatory work including setting intentions. On the day, I felt incredibly prepared and ready to take my journey.”
